Find Your Registration Number: Welcome to Dermacon 2008 It is a special privilege and pleasure to invite you to DERMACON 2008, the 36th National Conference of the Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists (IADVL) in Chandigarh - The City Beautiful, India from 24th to 27th January 2008. The city of Chandigarh is the capital of two states of India - Punjab and Haryana. It is a well planned city designed by the great French architect Le Corbusier. Located near the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range, Chandigarh is 250 km. from New Delhi, and well connected by air, rail and road. The "open hand", the official emblem of the city beautiful, conveys the symbolic message of "open to receive newly created wealth and open to distribute it to its people and to others". True to this concept, we would like the DERMACON 2008 at Chandigarh to be the forum to disseminate scientific knowledge to all. As has been the constant endeavor of our Department at every event is has hosted in the past, DERMACON 2008 also plans to offer you a veritable scientific feast of expert speakers, practice-oriented and clinically relevant topics and a greater tilt towards delegate participation during the deliberations. We will be inviting the true pioneers in the field of dermatology to share with us their unique experiences and offer new perspectives. This promises to be better than ever.
